Cancer free for 8 years!

Ben has been cancer-free for over 8 years. We keep checking his blood work to make sure everything is where it should be, and it is more or less considering everything he's been through. He's been doing everything a normal kid his age would doo. He in the school band, he plays on a soccer team, he's getting perfect marks in school, he's involved in many extracurricular activities, and he reads, writes, draws, films his own scripted movies and just plain enjoys life and everyone in it. He is a popular kid at school and a very funny guy from what I've heard and seen at school.

He is very creative and has started writing several stories. He's started writing a trilogy, which he would one day like to turn into a series of books. He's called it "3 Realms". He's also started writing a second trilogy that is not related to the first. So many plans. I'm sure he'd like to turn these books into movies one day.

We've gone on trips, camping, visiting, exploring etc. We have a pool in the back yard, which he uses and has hosted several school parties in. He certainly deserves this relaxing time after being through so much since the age of 3.
