Noël at home!

On December 22nd, 2006, Ben went in for chemo. He received two diAerent chemo drugs through IV. It was to be a overnight stay. He vomited around 2:30am and had a fever. He stayed the next day as they did tests to check where the fever was coming from. One of the chemo drugs does cause a fever but he had not reacted to it in the past. The fever turned out to be from the chemo though he has had a nasty cough for a few days and still does.

Ben returned from the hospital on Friday noon, but he wanted to go straight to school instead of home as he wanted to see his classmates before the holidays. Though he was exhausted from the lack of sleep for 2 nights and from the chemo, he had fun seeing his friends.

We are now spending the holidays together at home and trying all of us to get over our nasty colds.
