Ben spent Saturday afternoon celebrating with some of his school friends. We all went to see the new Indiana Jones movie and then went to a restaurant for supper. Though Ben had lots of fun, he almost had to lie down half way through to get some rest, as he’s been very tired lately.

On Sunday morning we went out for breakfast with family. It was also the Childrun, which is put on by Children’s Hospital. We couldn’t go as Ben gets tired very quickly. By chance, at the Frogstone Grill, where we had breakfast, about 10 of Ben’s school mates came in for breakfast. They were all wearing Childrun T-shirts as they had just come back from the run. On the sleeves of the T-shirts was written “Project Obadia”. We had no idea that people had put a team together and ran for Benjamin. It was very moving to see all the kids and their parents there. Wait ... I have something in my eye.... you guys are great. Fantastic parents and staP at l’école de Pionniers. Merci! Here’s a photo

We went to the hospital today to check on Ben’s counts. They have come up, though slowly. So we are so far good to go for Disneyland on June 12th. Thank you, Shiela, for arranging Ben’s maintenance protocol while we’re away. This protocol will allow his body to hopefully keep the cancer away while leaving him with enough good blood

counts and energy to walk around while on holidays. He will need to take Dexamethasone before he goes and take two drugs while he’s there: 6-MP and Methotrexate.
